I love this - so a couple days ago, Lindsay Lohan's Dad made a statement about how his daughter is back on the bottle again, and that Samantha is just using her, etc. Well Lindsay has fired back in her MySpace blog, which was just posted. (Read: Listen to my new song 'Bossy.')
My favorite thing about her blog is the song she is listening to while she fires away, lol - you gotta check out her blog. Oh, and if you care, Samantha Ronson posted a MySpace blog about it all, too. Click here to check it out.

If you have something to say to me, say it to my face- that's what i have believed my whole life- don't be a coward and say it to others first, let alone all the media in the world- i think we know where the rest of this blog is going...
If you guessed it had to do with my father- then you guessed right! It really hurts, because i have tried- after all that my mother and siblings have gone through, i really tried to make things work- For the hope of having a father again-wanting things to change- even though people have said, some people will forever remain the same.
Having said that- the people were right, and he is yet to change- but this time, without his daughter by his side- He has become a public embaressment and a bully- To my family, my co-workers, my friends, and a girl that means the world to me (its obvious who that is).
He has no idea what is going on in my life because i have chosen not to involve him in it- His recent attack on my life and my loved ones is simply for an ADDICTION THAT HE HAS- FAME. Why he feels the need to comment on anything in my life that i may want to keep private, is beyond comprehension- If he really cared about me and my life, then he would learn to respect my wishes by staying out of it.
Samantha has not and would never sell me out. Nor has my mother, who is wonderful.
This further proves that any information that my father has about me or the people in my life is internet based- and about as accurate as a page six item.
I'm not going to engage any further, though i probably could go on...
I have said enough, i have a therapist, and it is not the the camera man at x17.

In the clip below, Solange was talking with local Fox News Las Vegas TV station about her new album 'Sol-Angel and the Hadley Street Dreams,' which just came out this week.
Before her interview went live, Solange was asked if she would talk about the closing of Jay-Z’s Las Vegas Club 40/40. The answer was obviously no, so the anchor agreed not to mention it on air. Solange wasn’t aware that this happened off-camera, so after she was enthusiastically welcomed to the show by the news anchor, she sternly says:

I am now learning, due to supersaturation, undoubtedly fueled by TV shows' PR departments for 'Gossip Girl' and 'The Hills' and whatever other shows these people are on... And, by the way, who has names like that in real life? Penn??
Anyway, I'm a music guy - I don't get much TV time in, which is probably apparent to most of you who know who these people are - but Heidi Montag has a new song out, so I figured I'd give it a shot.
Hmmm.
Well, I'm a fan of a hot blonde in a leotard any day, and I'm not hatin' on the track completely, but (call me 'retro') this seems like a sad rip-off of Olivia Newton John's 1981 hit 'Physical.' But you be the judge. My guess is after about 30 secs of Heidi you'll be on to ONJ. At least in Olivia's vid, the guys turn out to be hot homos.
I still think Olivia should sue for defamation of good taste. And Heidi, Paris wants her shelved B-side back.

Here is the official setlist for Madonna's 'Sticky & Sweet Tour.' She must really be over performing tracks from 'Confessions on a Dance Floor,' as 'Hung Up' is the only song to appear in the lineup off her previous album.
At least the title tracks for 'Music' and 'Ray of Light' make an appearance - but it seems that Madonna, like the handful of people (approx 500,000) who purchased 'American Life,' has forgotten about her worst-selling album to date, as no tracks from 'Life' make the cut in the set list. Check out the lineup:
This tour most definitely serves as a showcase for her new album 'Hard Candy,' as it should. Tracks 'Candy Shop,' 'Beat Goes On,' 'Heartbeat,' 'She's Not Me,' 'Devil Wouldn't Recognize You,' 'Miles Away' and, of course, 'Give It to Me' and '4 Minutes' from 'Candy' make the cut. Given that the latter two tracks have already been released, her selection of recent songs begs the question: What will Madonna's next single release be? Chances are, it's in the show. Club mixes of 'She's Not Me' are already hitting dance floors - but will it be the next radio release? My personal vote: 'Miles Away.' What do you think?

IT'S OFFICIAL: Britney Spears will NOT perform at MTV's Video Music Awards, which take place Sept. 7 in Los Angeles. Ryan Seacrest broke the news today on his radio show.
The KIIS-FM radio personality/'American Idol' host spoke with Britney's manager, Larry Rudolph, who said: "Britney will not be performing at the VMAs... I'm telling you officially and unequivocally." The singer is "in the middle of recording her next album, which is going amazingly well, and was never supposed to perform at the show."

According to Nielsen SoundScan, the Bros' 'A Little Bit Longer' sold just over 525,000 copies during week one, making it one of the year's best-selling debuts, topping Miley, Madonna and Mariah's first week tallies.
On top of that, the Jonas Brothers' 2007 self-titled effort returns to the Top 10 on next week's Billboard albums sales chart, at #10, after selling another 31,000 units. Plus, the "Camp Rock" soundtrack, which features three tracks from the bros, holds the #8 spot.
You know I was dying to title this blog post 'Jonas Brothers on Top in Threeway.' Alas, I don't need my Mom yelling at me about being a perv. But these boys definitely like it on top (hot!).
