Muzo Album Review: NAKED HIGHWAY - 'Most Hottest'



If a collection of songs could sit up and say the words 'Baby, lets get naughty,' it'd be Naked Highway's forthcoming album 'Most Hottest.'

The NYC-based group, fronted by hottie Sy Bocarri, are going global with their brand of electro-pop synth rock - as their debut album 'Most Hottest' is set to drop Jan. 26, 2010, and will be available in iTunes and other major digital retailers.

Album oozes an innate hunger for sex, the way a guy on his knees yearns to unzip a dude's pants.

8 of the album's 12 songs are co-written/co-produced by Dublin-based rapper BNS, adding a little 'Boom!' to Naked Highway's 'Pow!'

Highlights include the infectious 'Pop It Drop It,' an '80s-style synth pop confection, this radio-ready track is def a future club hit.

If a song could look you in the eyes and say 'Lets fuck,' it'd be 'In and Out' - sounding like a slightly sped up porno soundtrack (a common theme through much of the band's eclectic sound), sexy beat boasts a chorus of soul sista divas sangin' 'I Wanna work you in and out' - that's a good thing, m'kay!? lol.

For you early '80s synth pop purists, '586' will not disappoint - if you told me this track was produced in 1981, I'd believe it.

Grungy, electric rock-dance track 'Rock Hard' is set to be a definite bar room head banger. And, of course, 'Pussy Police' - the track's title alone sold me, while it's not as radio-friendly as the aforementioned, a fun listen nonetheless.

'Most Hottest' is a solid listen through and through. Fans of '80s-infused pop-dance tracks that boast a healthy sex drive will not be disappointed.
