KRIS ALLEN's New Album Set a Record - But It Ain't a Good One



Things ain't lookin' too good for Leona Lewis, either...

Last season's 'American idol' winner Kris Allen released his debut self-titled album - to sales of 80,000 copies, reports Billboard. Ouch! This is the lowest debut of any 'Idol' winner. Heck, even Carrie Underwood's 'Play On,' which has already been out for a few weeks, managed to score 86,000 copies sold.

However, Kris - there is an upside. You did manage to outsell Leona Lewis, who's sophomore CD 'Echo' bowed with 67,000 copies.

So, looks like Adam Lambert, who took runner up last season on 'Idol,' ain't doin' so shabby afterall, as his album has sold roughly 225,000.

I still love you, Kris and Leona.
