William: When I saw the first episode of 'Rupaul's Drag Race,' and I saw Nina Flowers, I said to myself, 'She's fierce, and I want to make a track with her.' So I contacted her, and to my surprise she was a big fan of mine so we clicked immediately. I gave her some ideas, and so we started a long distance collaboration.

Muzo: You have a ton of great artists on this album - are there any particular stand-out tracks you would consider 'favorites'?
William: 'Declaration' is one of them, because that particular track was big internationally, and it caught the attention of one of my all time favorite producers, Ralphi Rosario.

William: Since the '90s, I realized that some DJs were into production, and I had the chance to visit some of the most prestigious dance recording studios in Italy. Since that time I couldn't keep my mind on anything other than to learn how to produce music.

Muzo: How has circuit music changed over the last decade?
William: Nothing stays the same, and the circuit is not an exception. Years ago it was full of big vocal diva tracks and that was fine, but now it is much more than that.

Muzo: I've been clubbing since I was 17 - a long time ago now - and I feel the scene has definitely changed. How do you think the whole club scene has evolved?
William: Musically, I think it is much richer with different sounds and styles. On the other hand, with all the developments going on in the world, I think we may have lost that warm touchy feeling that we used to get on the dance floors when everybody was so into the music and clubbing was like being with your extended family.

William: Just to mention several...Ralphi Rosario & Peter Rauhofer.

Muzo: How did you and your man meet - any advice for us single folks?
William: We met thru mutual friends 8 years ago. I think you must have good communication and never waste time on arguments.

Muzo: Favorite part of your body?
William: My biceps.
*****
Muzo: Favorite part of his body?
William: His legs.

William: Puerto Vallarta and Guadalajara, Mexico, Medellin and Bogata, Colombia, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and Dallas in December. I am looking forward to playing more gigs here in the States soon.

Muzo: Advice for new guys who want to get into DJing/producing/remixing?
William: You shouldn't do it thinking of hook-ups and party time. You have to love music and take it very seriously. Persevere and work hard.
*****
Muzo: What's next for William?
William: Production wise: The drag race EP featuring Nina Flowers will be coming out soon, plus remixes for Taborah, Jason Walker and Randy Friess.
As a DJ: Grab more attention of the promoters within the U.S. since I already have a solid fan base on the international circuit scene.
