Q&A: UberHOT Singer, Actor, Model QUENTIN ELIAS Talks New Track 'Shattered,' Upcoming Movie 'Student Loan,' His 'Incident' with DIANA ROSS & Much More

Aside from being one of the hottest men on the planet, 29-year-old Quentin Elias is also an actor, singer and model. But don't be entirely fooled by his badboy pics...sure, he looks like a tough muthah who could beat your ass down - and he prob could...or my ass at least (please? lol), but Quentin shows, underneath it all, he's a genuinely nice guy...a romantic with a soft side.

M: You are originally from France but spent a lot of time here in the U.S. What was that like?
Q: I actually grew up in the U.S. and spent a lot of time here. Back and forth back and forth. My first record deal with Universal brought me here for good.
*****
M: When did the music bug hit you?
Q: Professionally, I was 16. I was a baby!
*****
M: The first time some of us saw you was in the video for the remake of the song "We Are Family." Any dish on that recording session?
Q: That was in 2001. I was invited by Nile Rodgers to do that, what a great experience! Patti Labelle, Faith Evans, Pink. I was thrilled! My absolute fave that day was Queen Latifah, and Pink was amazing!

M: We heard a nasty tidbit about you actually pulling Diana Ross's hair?!
Q: LOL...who told you that! (Cookie does his research)! Spike Lee was asking me a question, and Diana Ross stepped in front of me. This was my shot! LOL. My hands "accidentally" got caught in her hair and she graciously moved aside. LOL. But I do love her!!!!!

M: Speaking of divas, we hear you are good friends with THE Madonna? Are you looking forward to her new album? What do you think contributes to her staying power?
Q: I am! I met her in Paris doing a TV show together when she presented Frozen. Then I met her when we were back in NYC when she was doing 'Confessions on a Dance Floor.' Very small lady, but amazing! She's extremely professional and very cool!

Q: I've been all over the place performing that track. I always loved it and decided to record the vocals for it. Very easy track, and I have always loved it. The crowds seem to love it!

M: Other than music, you just started doing some movies. How has your movie experience affected your music career?
Q: I have a movie that opens at Sundance called 'My Guaranteed Student Loan.' I actually got booked for another movie in September, then I am doing a play in L.A. It's a take-off of the classic movie "Sunset Boulevard"! I will be playing Joe. To compare, I like doing music. Acting is so new to me, but it's definitely growing on me.

Q: Was single until the end of June, and I just met someone. We are seeing where that's going...
*****
M: What qualities do you find most attractive in someone?
Q: What turns me on the most about someone is if they are affectionate. Hugging, kissing, holding my hand in the car. I love that attention! People see a bad boy, but I am all about affection!
*****
M: When we don't see you performing, what are your other favorite things to do?
Q: I LOVE writing songs. I can only do it when I am sad though! Right now I am such a happy boy, so not many songs are coming. I love kickboxing class, which I have been doing since I was 14. I'm always thinking about work, talking to agents, making calls, etc. I don't do the club thing, no drinking or drugs, so I'm always in bed pretty early.

Q: I work out pretty much every day. I lift 5 days a week, lots of cardio, too! I make sure I eat right; you definitely are what you eat! I try to eat right pretty much all the time, it's a way of life! Lots of discipline!!

M: Is it your first time in Asbury Park @ Paradise?
Q: It's actually my second time in AP. I was thrilled to meet Shep Pettibone when I was down. I wish he could produce more music, he did some amazing work with Madonna. A true legend!
*****
M: Straight crowds vs. gay crowds?
Q: The straight girls always go wild! I did an episode of "My Super Sweet Sixteen" for MTV, and the girls were crazy! The gay crowds are a little bit different. They stand with their arms folded, and I have to prove myself. Sometimes I have to take my shirt off to get them going! LOL.

Q: I have to learn my lines for my movie in September! I have a small tour in France in August, maybe 5 shows. After that, things are just coming and coming. I am THRILLED for the play though. It's my big shot!

M: Thanks so much for chatting, Quentin! See you in Asbury Park and see you soon in L.A.!
Q: Thank you so much for talking to me!
