Your Guide to L.A. Gay Pride: June 12-14



L.A. Gay Pride is almost here! Event takes place in West Hollywood, beginning Friday night, June 12 - Sunday June 14. Sat. and Sun. are obviously the two big days - here's the long story short:

Saturday is gonna rock cuz Fantasia, Deborah Cox, Debby Holiday, Nikki 16 and a bunch more awesome entertainers will be performing at the mainstage beginning early evening (see map above for its location). AND it's my 21st birthday (in my mind....fine, I'm more 'mature' than that...well, sorta...). so if you see me, don't waste your time with 'Happy Birthdays' and shiz, just buy me booze. Booze makes Muzo smile.

Sunday, the 14th, the parade kicks off at 11 a.m. and usually winds down by late afternoon. Parade runs along Santa Monica Blvd., from Crescent Heights to Robertson.

(You need a separate ticket for each day, should you choose to go both days. They are $20 in person, plus you have to wait in line; Or if you buy yours in advance, like meeeeee, they are $17, and you get to go in the express entrance.)

And remember! Parking is a major bitch during pride, if you are driving, consider carpooling - remember even cab drivers develop major attitude during pride, because they become a very hot commodity. I'm just sayin'!

I'll be out Saturday for all the performances at the mainstage, then hitting the clubs most likely afterward, so if you're going, say hey!
