Porn Star DAMIAN RIOS Talks Up His Days As a Navy Boy, What He Likes in Bed, Raging Stallion's 'Last Man,' more
Damian Rios is one of the hottest newcomers on the scene - one look at his pics will tell you why I'm a fan. And I'm clearly not alone. Damian was also nominated for two GAVYN Awards. The awards presentation takes place March 28, 2009, in San Fran. It's gonna be a full weekend of hot events.
Now Damian, the former Navy seaman (hot!), was kind enough to take some time and answer Muzo's questions about everything from his recent noms and days in the Navy to what he really likes in bed, his previous relationship with Scott Tanner, what turns him on in another guy and much more:

Damian: I am super excited just being nominated. I can now say that I am a part of history,lol. Just being honored with the nomination means a lot to me, if I win I'd love it and if not it's still my Birthday that day and I am celebrating no matter what!

Muzo: Where did you bartend and perform in Central Florida? I lived in Orlando for a few years. Firestone, Southern Nights? The Parliament House?? lol
Damian: Wow, I haven't heard those names in forever. I actually used to dance at both Firestone and Southern Nights around '99. I bartended In Tampa shortly after leaving Orlando @ Chrome, Factory, Matrix, Chrome which changed their name to Boi and I also gogo'd at these places.

Muzo: And as you know, I'm a big fan of Scott Tanner's. You guys used to be an item - are you on good terms and such now?
Damian: Scott and I were together for about two years. Even though we're no longer together the feelings and emotions are still there. I love him very much! I want us to one day feel completely comfortable around each other, but right now the bruise is still there and it's hard to be happy all the time. He knows how much I care about him and that's all that matters.

Damian: I have to be honest that at the beginning of my career especially since I met Scott during my second day of shooting my first film it was a little rough for me. I wasn't expecting to fall in love, but it happened. I had to learn that filming wasn't cheating, even though I was filming as well. After working a couple of movies, you learn that it takes a lot of work and people don't see it from behind the scenes. I realize what it entails and I overcame my jealousy.

Muzo: Your career has majorly taken off in the last few years...randyblue.com and now Raging Stallion. And you were most recently involved in RS's 'To the Last Man.' First off, that pic has the hottest line up of adult entertainers...what was it like working with all those guys? Any behind-the-scenes gossip?
Damian: I could write a book on all the gossip that went on during those weeks on set in Arizona. I know more than 3/4 of the models already so it was kind of like a sleep over with lots of hot men. There were a few rough days when all I wanted to do was get away and was happy to be making a six hour drive to the airport and back. I also have tons of memories and pictures that I will cherish forever.
To the group of guys that would always come and hang out with me in the backyard at night, I love you all!
Randy Blue was an amazing experience. The crew was amazing, and the studio set up is really nice. They definitely know how to take care of their models.

Muzo: What was your favorite scene to shoot in 'Last Man?'
Damian: My sex scene of course! Even though my cum shot didn't get nominated, it was the best one out of the entire movie. It was really hard to keep myself from not jacking off while on set since I had been there for almost two weeks without cumming. I had to practically beg Scott to give me some so I could keep myself from shooting my load.
I have to say that the opportunity to work with Ricky was intimidating for me, but when you get to hang out with him and see his other side, he's very sweet. Hope this doesn't ruin his image of a bad boy. I was very excited to film my scene. Ricky had some fun and suggested to use a gun and shot it while I was giving him head, just to let everyone know, I don't use my teeth. There were two really hot positions that had me very turned on including the few spectators we had watching since there was nothing else to do on location.

Damian: Personality, respect, and appreciation for your fans. You can't be in this industry and be an asshole or think you are better than everyone else. When you are able to get along with the crew and get through your shoot without any complications, it gives the studio more reason to want to work with you giving you more opportunities to film and get noticed.

Muzo: What's the biggest challenge you face on set during a shoot?
Damian: Keeping myself from eating anything hours before... especially if I'm bottoming.

Muzo: You used to be in the Navy. Do you keep up with any of those guys? What do they think of your work now? Or, what would they think if they knew? Any good stories from the Navy days?
(Fess up! I got plenty of time...lol) Damian: I was in the Navy for eight years. I was stationed in Sicily from 2001-2005 and in Key West from 2005-2008. There are some people that I wish I could find, there is one person I could care less to ever see again, and there are those guys that I still talk with today and finally going to see one of them in San Diego March 13th. He is in Japan now and getting out in a few weeks. I am going out there to dance for Club Papi, so it gives me a chance to see him even though I have to leave the very next day since I am dancing in two other cities immediately after.
I had a very significant job in KW and had to examine every active duty member stationed there. Everyone knew I was gay, but I worked extremely hard so it was never a problem. Until I did my third movie with Scott, and a few months later had an eleven page spread in 2 Magazine. I was a Hospital Corpsman so I worked with lots of case managers. One of them happened to be gay, but had moved to Utah. One day I was walking around the clinic and as I was passing his best friend's office, which she was also a case manager. She asked for me to come back whenever I had time. I would speak with her almost every day so I thought she just wanted to gossip. I walk into her office and she says that she wants to show me some pictures.
The first picture she showed me was of me next to a pool, I couldn't remember where it was taken, until she showed me the second picture, which was of Scott giving me head. I was frozen and had to let her know the truth. I was a bit freaked out, if the Navy were to find out while I was in service I could have been Court Martialed and gone to federal prison. Luckily she gave me some advice, to get out of the Navy before anything else would be released. I appreciated her coming to me and helping me out instead of reporting it to my Commanding Officer, I'll never forget her.
From the time that she approached me till the time I got out was about nine months. I had to figure out how I was going to get out since I still had more than a year and a half to go. I ended up outing myself to my CO and was honorably discharged in March 2008. I got a severance check for being gay; I got to keep all my benefits including my GI, which is more than $86K, and I have medical coverage for five years so l don't have to pay for medical insurance during that time which is great during our economy now. So I got out and moved out here to San Francisco and got signed on with RS.
And actually the entire clinic has found out about me being in porn. There are several gay guys that worked for me, and you know queens, they like to gossip. Everyone found out about Damian Rios.

Muzo: What do you look for in an ideal partner?
Damian: Loyalty, honesty, good looking, and I need to know that they are close with their family. Im very close with mine and I want to know that my man wants his family in his life as much as I do. It makes it more meaningful to get the chance to meet them as well. When you meet the family you get to see a different side of him and see where he came from.

Damian: Everyday is different and it brings on so many great things and sometimes it can bring some bad. Right now I have been very fortunate to be signed with Raging Stallion. I have worked with Jeffrey Sanker, Club Papi, Manhunt, and other promoters throughout the U.S. dancing and promoting movies. I take everyday for what it is and have fun with it. Every trip is an opportunity to learn new things about myself and visit new cities. I'm also working at a private practice clinic in Pacific Heights, and that's my passion. No matter where I am in life, I know I want to stay in the medical field.
