Raging Stallion Porn Star ROCCO GIOVANNI Talks Up His Debut Film with RICKY SINZ, more
Rocco Giovanni is set to star in his very first adult entertainment flick ever - with Raging Stallion. 'Ink Stain,' a collection of five vignettes from Jake Deckard, which was just released and is available now on Raging Stallion, features Aitor Crash, Brandon X, Damian Rios, Christopher Darling, Dan Rhodes, Dr Benway, Logan McRee, Manuel DeBoxer, Nick Piston, Ricky Sinz and, of course, Rocco Giovanni.
Now Rocco gives his first interview evah to MUZOPHILE. He dishes on everything from his costar Ricky Sinz, being a porn newbie and taking it like a champ to his work with Cystic Fibrosis.

Rocco: It was actually just what I had expected. I am the kind of person who does A LOT of research before I decide to involve myself in something, so I read biographies, exposes, articles. It was work, but like dance or martial arts, where the work requires discipline, pain, exhaustion, it's also enjoyable. Finally doing it after 28 years of life, and having thought about it since I was 16, was fulfilling and rewarding.

Muzo: How did you get involved in it? Just a few short months back, I was interviewing you for Mr Gay.com - now you're a porn star! When did that happen!? lol
Rocco: I blame award-winning and internationally acclaimed photographer, and one of my best friends, Justin Monroe! He shot me in August, and at dinner after the shoot he looked at me and said "Why are you still in Ohio... what the fuck are you afraid of?" And I realized that with the work I had just done for him, anything my mind could conceive and believe, I would achieve.
So I sent his shots out... and got a call asking me to do the video at the last minute. I was actually headed to Vegas for vacation to see Madonna's Sticky and Sweet tour when then needed me to shoot. So I flew to Vegas, from there to San Francisco to shoot, then back the day of the show.

Muzo: Is your costar Ricky Sinz as hot in person as he is on camera? (It must've been real tough for you to bend over for him eh? lol)
Rocco: Let me tell you about Ricky: Not only is he a stunning representation of the male species, he is one of the most intelligent men I have ever met in my life. He is open and more articulate than people would believe. He is a brilliant businessman, and he has lived a life most only see in movies or dream about. He is being screwed over by the military, he fights, I'm talking MMA hand to hand in the octogon stuff, he blogs.. he's brilliant!

Muzo: How was the experience different from what you had expected?
Rocco: Now that would give away ALL the secrets of the porn world wouldn't it? I will say this, though it doesn't answer your question, Chris Wards' collection of Ancient Egpytian art is BAD ASS! Ever since I was a wee tot I have had an affinity for Egypt, so that was very impressive.
What I didn't expect was the grip...I don't know that he wants named, so I'll call him C. He was always asking if I needed anything, cleaning up after everything. I wasn't used to that.
Muzo: Would you do another adult film again?
Rocco: I hope to!!! I hope to do many more actually!

Muzo: Who are your porn idols?
Rocco: Chi Chi LaRue, though he's not a pornstar, I read his biography years ago, and he and I actually had a LONG conversation about Prince when I met him. Trevor Knight, we have an interesting relationship. Ricky Sinz. Scott Tanner. Can I say Madonna??? I mean, doesn't the SEX book count? Colton Ford, because he went on to do more. Logan McCree, though I have yet to meet him, but sure as fuck hope to... in many many ways. And your favorite... you know the one... Damien something?? HA HA HA HA HA HA HA

Rocco: It took a total of 5 hours actually. Lets say I take it like a champ, and I'm a hard worker. It's all about the shot... in more ways than one!

Muzo: What advice would you give to guys who want to get into adult entertainment?
Rocco: To quote Madonna, "A look can get you into a room, but something has to keep you there." For a LONG time, I tried to break into porn, and it seemed my tattoos were a hindrance. But I kept myself, well, myself. I wasn't going to let that dictate how I lived my life before I got the call from Jake Dekard.
And then I made sure I did my research, that I worked out, that I stayed sane and safe. I asked questions, I set limits, and I didn't allow myself to be intimidated. I went in knowing that I was going to work, and that I needed to produce the best product I could. By exhibiting myself in a professional manner, by working, really working, not complaining and acting like a diva, I mean. Lets face it: Who was I, and why would I bitch? I was doing my first scene with the 2009 Raging Stallion Man of the Year, and multi award winner. I knew that I was giving everyone involved the best product I could.
My best advice, put to memory what I just wrote, and remember that you are only as good as your work. Make smart decisions, and think those decisions through, be prepared to follow through, be prepared to sweat, to hurt, to cramp, and be exhausted. A concert tour isn't easy for a pop star, and neither is porn for a porn star!

Muzo: What was the best thing about the shoot?
Rocco: For me, creating Rocco. Rocco is a character, a facet of Alexander. So I had to think, what will I do when this happens? Will I moan all soft, will I growl like a demon? How will I do this? One thing I have a personal issue with is my inflection. This is going to sound awful, but when I talk I sound 'gay,' so I had to make a conscious decision about my talking, or lack there of. Will that change? In the future maybe...

Rocco: Worked on my talking! Kidding!!!!! Nothing. If I would have done something differently, then this experience wouldn't have been THIS experience.

Muzo: What's next for Rocco?
Rocco: Rumor has it that I will be doing more work with Justin Monroe, perhaps even in Ohio. I hope to do more video work and travel a little. I'd love to dance all over the nation. I mean, that's something you don't see in the video is that side of my talent. Well you have because you've watched the YouTubes, but others haven't.
Right now I'm working on adding to my AFAA Group Fitness certification with a certification from ACE, then I will work on getting my personal trainer's certification from both fitness organizations as well.
I'll be adding to my tattoos, which helped me get both work with Justin and Raging Stallion. And most importantly, I will be working on my charity work. I have my annual Cystic Fibrosis walk coming up, and my goal is to raise $1000 again this year. My best friend has 4 kids, 2 of which are living with CF. My left arm is tattooed with a tribute to CF, so it's my big cause in life.
Other than that...I'll just keep on trucking closer toward the truth, waking up and being thankful for each day that I have that gives me the opportunity to learn, grow and maybe change the world.
