It's Mormon Music Release Month: David Archuleta, The Killers

It's Mormon music release month. My boyfriend David Archuleta will finally be legal next month, and I can stop feeling guilty about all the gay sex I've had with him in my mind; then again, if 16 y.o. Miley and her 20 y.o. bf Justin can get all statutory, I suppose that makes it OK.

Anyway, David happens to be Mormon, and is releasing his album Tuesday, November 11. Once he's legally an adult, David and I will be planning our big gay wedding (also in my mind), which will take place at the Mormon Temple in Salt Lake City, UT. I want lots and lots and lots of rainbow flags and my gay dance music. And I want it ALL at the temple - and it won't start till after their curfew. Chicks are gonna wear makeup - it's gonna rock! OOH! And burning crosses!

Also out this month, more music from Mormons - The Killers new album 'Day & Age' is due out Monday, Nov. 24. Yes, Monday. Island has bumped up the release a day earlier than the traditional Tuesday release - most likely due to the holiday.

With all this music from Mormons coming our way, and given all the well-deserved negative press the Moron Church (oh yes, typo intended) is getting, lets please keep something in mind: Not all Mormons hate gays.

In fact, there is actually an organization of Gay Mormons. I know nothing about them, since I am the devil. But I am sure they must feel a lot of oppression. So I don't think we should take the high road and not generalize.

After 52% of California voters said YES on Prop 8, I saw a blog post somewhere that said 'Shame on you, California! You should hang your head in shame for allowing that discrimination.' As a Californian who voted NO on 8, all I could do is sit there and think: 'Is this guy kidding me?' Everyone I know, their moms, DILFs, gay uncles and BFFs, were in opposition to this and voted NO on Prop 8 - I felt it was unfair to generalize all Californians in that way.

Fortunately, the recent protests here have shows the country we are not all idiots. To be quite honest, if you look at this voting results county breakdown map on the LA Times, as to those who voted yes on 8...most of them live in those places where 'The Hills Have Eyes' was filmed.

So keepin' it real... With all that said...lets all remember to take the high road and give these artists a fair shot. Just cuz they're Mormons, doesn't mean they're necessarily Morons - plus Muzo wants his big gay Mormon wedding! Gay, gay, gay!
