According to reports, Fox is developing a remake of the '90s BBC series, which starred Joanna Lumley and Jennifer Saunders as Patsy Stone and Edina Monsoon respectively.
Christine Zander ("Saturday Night Live") will write the script and exec produce along with the BBC's Ian Moffet and original series creator Saunders.
Show will take place in Los Angeles but will follow the same template as the original series.
No word yet on production schedule or who is set to star. Muzo's personal thoughts? How can you replace the original duo!?

Good Grief! Another remake? And I thought the movie remakes were annoying.
They better make it just as good as the original, unlike that half-assed remake they did of Coupling. And I hope they get good actresses as well.

I do not see it as good as the original ,because joanna and jennifer were brilliant that would be hard to top.

cbs already did ab fab years ago. it had jean smart in the patsy role. rosanne barr bought all the original scripts to ab fab and had carrie fisher trying to adapt them but couldn't because of all the drug use. this won't make it past the first few episodes before it is canceled.

Ummmmm... they've already produced a "remake" of AbFab. It was "High Society, with Mary McDonnell and Jean Smart (from Designing Women). 1995-1996. Check it out on You Tube. Heh... "Fabulous" show
