Q&A: Get to know famed fashion photographer ADAM BOUSKA

His photographs are everywhere - you can hardly pass up a MySpace page without seeing a shot of an insanely hot guy (or girl) - with the photo credit 'ADAM BOUSKA.'

Los Angeles-based fashion photographer Bouska started out as a model and eventually moved his way behind the camera. The 24-year-old's work has been featured in, literally, every major magazine on this planet (and probably other planets, too). You can check out his full body of work at Adam's MySpace page. But first: Get up close and personal with Adam, who talks up everything from the rigors of a 50+-hour work week and finding models to unsung hotties and older guys. Get the Q&A:

Muzo: What inspired you to go from being a model to getting behind the camera?
Adam: I posed for many photographers and would always love seeing the transition from what was in front of the camera to the product on the screen. I didn't always agree with the vision of the photographer and consequently found myself frustrated with creative differences. I saved up my money, purchased a camera, and used what I had learned through observation to work.

Muzo: What was your most memorable photo shoot?
Adam: Hard to say! Every photoshoot has been a unique experience. One that sticks out was my underwater photoshoot for a wine sponsor of a woman wrapped in vines in a long flowing white dress. It was physically demanding, as well as technically challenging.

Muzo: I have to say, you are a genius. I've got a pretty healthy ego and self-esteem, but after looking at your photographs, I just feel like I should go to the gym or go tanning or something - where do you find these gorgeous guys and girls?
Adam: I began by photographing friends and people that I'd encounter. I think everyone has a beautiful side, just takes the right person to bring it out of them. It's not always a physical thing; it's a balance of personality, as well.

Muzo: Ok, lets be real here for a second. A lot of your models are really young-looking - toned bodies, boyish looks, with that gleam in their eyes, as if to say, 'I've got a wonderful life ahead of me. I mean, look, I just happened to roll out of this vintage car onto the pavement in my unbuttoned jeans, the sunlight accenting my eight-pack and perfectly sculpted physique, but this is how I always look!'

So, that's nice and all, but personally, I think you should change it up and take on, say, a 35-year-old masculine dude, someone like, well...like me, I mean, just for example , trimmed hairy chest, wrestler's legs, ass of steel, you know, add a little variety, whadya say?

Adam: Hahaha! Bring it on Hey, I've never been opposed to older men at all! I think I just tend to make them look young, so you don't recognize it

Muzo: What inspires you?
Adam: Music, love, life, people (especially ones who are passionate about what they do).

Muzo: What is the greatest compliment you have ever received?
Adam: I was asked to photograph a guarded multi-million dollar painting at a fine-art galley for a reproduction, because of other work I have done with attention to color and detail.

Muzo: How has your MySpace page contributed to your business?
Adam: It's allowed me to connect with people informally but still allows me to conduct business professionally. It's a great mix.

Muzo: Aside from MUZOPHILE: 24/7 Club Hits on Live 365 (of course), what music do you like to listen to?
Adam: Nothing else. At all. Just that.

Muzo: Sticky or sweet?
Adam: Sweet on the inside, sticky on the outside

Muzo: What's one misconception about you that you'd like to clear up?
Adam: Being a fashion photographer isnt just sex, drugs and alcohol...you don't have to go to college, and there's no real schedule either! NO, kidding...but seriously...it's not all games. It's a lot of work...I'd say 50+ hours a week -- and a lot of traveling. It's a pretty demanding job that tests the lines of personal and work. Not for everyone!

Muzo: When you go out with your friends, what do you do?
Adam: I love getting away. We go camping in Santa Barbara, out to Malibu for a beach day or down to Catalina to really disappear.

Muzo: Your thoughts on gay marriage? Will you ever marry?
Adam: I think it's important for gays to be allowed to marry for its impact on the representation of gays in society. It's important to show that commitment and respect for a relationship and that we have the equal right to express that. As far as me, for sure. I'm def a romantic at heart and want to eventually be with someone that I can share the world with.

Muzo: 'My favorite part of my body is...'
Adam: My ears. I love music; it's inspiring.

Muzo: 'First thing I do, after I get out of bed in the morning is...'
Adam: Run to the kitchen. Usually time for munchies.

Muzo: Celebrity crush?
Adam: Got me on this one. I like the guys that aren't that well-known, the unsung hotties.

Muzo: 'When having sex, the guy should...'
Adam: Never hold back.

Muzo: What's next for Adam Bouska?
Adam: A new studio! I've got some big projects coming up (literally), and I needed more space, so I'm hoping this will help establish a place for creativity! More news and updates on what's going on at: http://www.bouska.net, www.myspace.com/bouska and http://www.adambouska.com.
